False negative pregnancy test stories?

hey i'd like to hear from everyone who has taken a test and it came but negative and then took another one and it came back positive. When did you take the first test? and how much longer after the the negative test did you get a positive one?False negative pregnancy test stories?
Missed period by 10days, we wasn't trying for a baby so i was on the pill. but took a test after no period 10 days late, came back negative. waited another week still no period took another test was positive!! couldn't believe it very shock as was still on the pill. made a doctors app for the following week - was the soonest i could get. did another test as was very shock and came back neg?? now was very confused and worried, told doctor everything. he said i wasn't preg and may of had a very early miscarriage. this upset us alot as you can understand.

3months later still no period?? the doctor did say it may take awhile for them to come back to normal. but then i fainted and hubby rushed me to hospital, and they told me i was 4months preg!!!!!!!

Told my doctor what i thought of his medical skills and now have a new doctor. We are over the moon and had a little girl.False negative pregnancy test stories?
Yes it happened to me. I was probably around 8-10 weeks pregnant when it was negative and over three months when it was positive. The faulty product was made in Germany if I remember correctly. I think it was probably Gods influence however because if Id known earlier I may have opted to terminate at that stage in my life however knowing so late (after three months) I didnt even consider it an option. I now have a beautiful daughter and I wouldnt want to be without her. Good luck.
I missed my period whilst on Holiday in the Bahamas last year, had gone away for one last holiday before starting a family, unfortunately that didn't go to plan as i missed my period whilst i was there! i took 2/3 tests whilst i was there and they all came back negative, i didn't want to drink if i was pregnant.

I started to feel abit quesey on the flight home, i was nearly 2 weeks late at this point, i did another test when i got home and that came back negative.

I waited another few days and tested again and got a very faint pos result. So faint i wasn't sure but reading the test it stated it didn't matter how faint it was it was still positive.

To cut a long story short the following week i had a tiny amount of spotting, was referrred for an early scan which showed i was having an ectopic pregnancy. That was the reason why it had taken so long to get a pos result as your body doesn't start producing the HCG pregnancy hormone until the baby implants in the uterus.

All was ok in the end
When i took my first pregnancy test i bought a box with 2 and the first one i took said negative then so did the next one i didn't believe it. I just felt pregnant so i went out and bought four more two different brands and again two said negative so finally i just gave up. Then the next morning i took the other two and they said positive, i went to the doctor and wow i really am pregnant

How can I stop an envious girl from making up stories about me and stop spreading false and nasty rumors about

How can I stop an envious girl from making up stories and spreading false and nasty rumors about me? I've tried confronting her several times and nicely too, but she would deny it and would be so nice and bubbly when infront of me. But the moment I turn my back she stabs me again. She fabricates lies about me. I'm surprised at how so many people in my neighborhood and in my circle look at me when they see me. I feel like the woman with a Scarlett letter. Every time I find out about a rumor spread about me by her, I would confront her, but she would deny it. Then she will do it again. I dont know how i will stop this, nor how i can defend myself from all those people who see me as such a wicked girl. When none of what she says is true in the first place. I cant just go up to those people and start explaining myself, without them opening up to me first. They have already passed judgement and see me as how this girl has painted me to be. I feel so bad that I couldnt even defend myself. How can I stop an envious girl from making up stories about me and stop spreading false and nasty rumors about
Ignore her. Just be yourself. Do you really want to associate with people who prejudge others? It sounds to me like she just wants attention and is jealous. You might try just being nice to her. She will probably be shocked, and a little embarassed, but it may end the jealousy. How can I stop an envious girl from making up stories about me and stop spreading false and nasty rumors about
Confront her directly. Don't beat around the bush. Tell her the rumor, and tell her that you want it to stop. I might also consider beating the crap out of her... *sigh* sometimes that's the only thing that will stop such wickedness.

Aside from that, just keep being yourself to others. You might also want to tell folks that you don't understand why she makes these things up and that you feel sad for her.
Write this down on a letter hand or post it to her make sure to keep a copy of it, in the letter tell her that if she continues to spread false rumors the next letter will be from your attorney.
Are you sure it's her? If it really is, you can sue her for slander./
I think that you should let her know that whatever it is that she has against you that the two of you should try to settle your differences and that if she does not stop you will begin ';LEGAL'; actions against her for the slander of your rep.
Why not choose a time when all of you are together, and confront her in front of the entire group. Start listing all of the lies and rumors she has spread about you, and challenge her to prove *any* of the things she has said about you. The best thing you can do is make her look like a liar in front of them. It will destroy her credibility and she will not be taken seriously again.

Does she make things up about other people in the group? Bring those up in front of everyone too, and watch her try to lie her way out of it.

If she does talk about other people behind their backs to you, try getting her on tape, and then play the tape for the person she is backstabbing.

To MamaCita: I'm Latina too. I'm a little disturbed that you chose to make this person's question into a racial issue.
act like it doesnt bother you sje's just doing it to get ur attenton and thats prolly y shes doing it but dont talk to her ignore her and tell other ppl that its not true she already no's that its a lie its the other ppl that need to no it too
Find your self confidence.

I had this prob too... I even tryied to play games like telephone. You know, you tell a close friend a message and pass it on. By the time it gets through the circle, the story's all messed up.

Anyways, I though I would pass it down the grapevine that ';I'm pregantnt with the computer geeks kid';. Well, after a day, the story morphed into I was having triplets from three different guys on the football team. This was so ridculas that nobody belived rumors again.

However, I still did not have my self confidence, and this kept me from being happy and dating a real cute guy who was on the team. You are the only one loosing by ignoring your own confidence.
There are some people like that. I've met one but could never find anything to make her stop unfortunately. However, people who knew me or got to know me realized that what she was saying wasn't true. You have to just try to be the bigger person and let people know who you really are. Sorry if there's no easy way out.
i would confront her rudly and then start a fight with her. but thats just me.
Eleanor Roosevelt said that no one can make you feel inferior without your consent, and this is absolutely true. Remove yourself from this person and, if possible, from her frequent whereabouts. Anyone who knows you will know that her lies are just that - LIES. And who cares what anyone else thinks?
you cant, her starting rumours is like you said she's jealous! but if people you now know , know it's not true then they'll not belive it it'll probabaly make you even more better than her and people will know its her and wont belive her
ask her out on a date then tear her clothes off
Basically, I hate to sound sue happy, but if she doesn't respond to confrontation, tell her you are willing to take legal action, then speak with an attorney about the issue. Slander is a tortious act that the law can provide remedy for. If you truely feel that she is giving you a bad name and refuses to stop, you can use the law to even the playing field.
kick her ***!!!!
The girls in my seventh grade class did the same thing. Only difference: It was about 30 girls spreading rumors at the same time. These girls told each other I was pregnant, called me various name that this website would not let me post, and completely destroyed my reputation. The turned my best friends against me.They told the school principle that they had reason to beleive I had a disorder, and the woman beleived them! The next year, when the ringmaster of the rumors left, they treid to befriend me and make-up, but the damage was done. I had already cut myself off from them. To this day, people judge me and say that I shouldv'e forgiven them. What they don't understand is that you can forgive someone and still not trust them. You can forgive this woman, but heaven help anyone who tells you to trust her! They told the school principle that they had reason to beleive I had a disorder, and the woman beleived them! This woman needs to be told to step off, and most likely (I'm not going to lie to you) she won't. I don't know how people get through it, but when you do (and you will) you will come out the better person, and she will look like the moron she is. I am now fourteen years old and as happy as could be. I'm still going to school with those girls, but I've got new friends and things are great. Sorry if this was too long...
cut out her tongue?
maby its no her... and even if it isent her just for the hell of go beat her a** up i mean it pull her hair and beat her white a** ( shes white right lol)
Well man..theres isnt anything you can do to show thats she is just spreading rumors...only way you can is to catch her in one of her lies and if she does it enough she'll slip up sometime soon....but when people come up and asked you about them they already have there mind made up wrather you did it or not...so just say ';i didn do it there aint much i can say to that...but your just have to believe what you want';
your self confidence is most important. The moment you react to such a cooked up story, u end up sending the message that you are susceptible and then the stories increase. The less u bother the better. The moment this girl finds out that her stories do not impact you she will stop.

  • Rational Christians: what motive would your god have to give people false bible stories that cloud perception?

This is what’s happening with Christians who have a too literal interpretation of the bible in today’s world, isn’t it? The stories that your god allegedly inspired people to write in the bible are clouding their perception and making it difficult for them to judge fact from fiction. Your god did this to them. He was like a parent who deliberately told their children stuff that was not true and now that the children have grown up, they’re reluctant to behold the truth because knowing the truth means that they have to admit their parents lied to them.

But maybe your god had a motive for doing this to people; maybe there is some potential benefit that I can’t see and that can arise from perceiving the world with clouded judgment which arises from having a too literal interpretation of the bible?Rational Christians: what motive would your god have to give people false bible stories that cloud perception?
So you mean that humans didn't originate from a pile of dirt and a rib, the Earth wasn't made in 6 days, there wasn't a man who gathered two of all the species on an arc to survive a great flood, so on and so forth? You've just rocked my world.Rational Christians: what motive would your god have to give people false bible stories that cloud perception?
Literal interpretation of the Bible is a very modern invention. Traditionally, Catholics, Lutherans, Anglicans (well most Anglicans), and the Eastern Orthodoxy all reject literal interpretation. Im guessing you knew this though.

Frankly, I don't understand how someone can say that the Bible should be taken literally without reading it in Hebrew and Greek. But thats one of the many reasons why I am Catholic.
Even if God channeled the Bbl directly to ppl , the humans would screw it up, get half of it wrong, and add their own opinions, not to mention translation and retelling losses and distortions.
Then again, maybe the stories are all true and God is real. So then Christians would be the only ones with the right perspective, and doubters would be reluctant to behold the truth.
In answer to your first question, I have never sought for an motive, nor was it an questionfor me. For we have a choice to do or not,
Because you're assuming God wrote the bible - He didn't, human beings did. As far as these people being ';inspired'; well, that's a very vague term. Our own psyches ';inspire'; us.
And people who admit this give up religion eventually.
    rational Christians? lol
    I like you Desiree
None. That's how we know the Bible is true.
    1) Rational Christians: what motive would your god have to give people false bible stories that cloud perception?

I can't think of any. I'll bet that you can't, either.

    2) This is what’s happening with Christians who have a too literal interpretation of the bible in today’s world, isn’t it?

No - that does not describe the same situation at all.

    3) The stories that your god allegedly inspired people to write in the bible are clouding their perception and making it difficult for them to judge fact from fiction.

Who told you so, and why did you believe them? It seems to me that you are naively adopting a belief that has no evidence to support it. It certainly is an odd religion that you have.

    4) Your god did this to them. He was like a parent who deliberately told their children stuff that was not true and now that the children have grown up, they’re reluctant to behold the truth because knowing the truth means that they have to admit their parents lied to them.

Ummm...no. But please feel free to offer evidence to support **your** ';stuff that was not true';...

    Jim, http://www.christianwebprogramming.com/b…
if God didn't say what He meant, then why didn't He mean what He said? isn't God able to do that?

you're a fool and im willing to call you on it. you say i am irrational, though i accept the belief in God on a rational premise, that He is able, even able to perform miracles in the ancient past... do you think you're the first to discount them? the very people following Jesus had their fill of miracles yet when He began speaking of Lordship and servitude they left Him by the droves. God is able, nothing is too hard for Him, the universe dripped from His fingers and nations were formed from His breath, they'll be judged by the same. He is even able to pass a perfect and viable promise through the hands of sinful mankind, though they trash it, they mock it, they ridicule it to near death and even ignore it. but God made a promise, His day is coming and when He speaks who will stand up and call Him a liar?

';We have also a MORE SURE (than their eyewitness testimony) word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:

KNOWING this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.

don't try to say God's word doesn't mean what it says, it is it's own interpretation. don't make up something it isn't saying, it isn't allegorical nor symbolic - solely. every miraculous event became a parable of wisdom, and every parable is a miracle of understanding. the way one must read the Bible is to ask what it meant then, what it means to me personally and how do i apply it? and in that threefold cord you have the Spirit of God speaking a more sure word, the word that transcends human thought and human flaw and human teaching and human misunderstanding, but pierces joint and marrow, dividing the soul and establishing in the heart.

Atheists, why are so many people totally blinded by false religions and stories?

When will the world realize what we already know. We love and respect others while seeking knowledge, yet so many people are caught up with hypocritical ideas and traditions that make no sense. When will we remove the burden from them?Atheists, why are so many people totally blinded by false religions and stories?
People are afraid to let go of cherished beliefs, even when they can't admit that the beliefs are sometimes based on unhealthy fears...I pray for the time that Christians are lead by commitments to justice and compassion, but until then, the fear-mongers still have a foot hold....Atheists, why are so many people totally blinded by false religions and stories?
Most have been indoctrinated (read ';brainwashed';) since birth. The reasons they won't change is because they don't want to admit that their lives' beliefs were all wrong and they've wasted that much time, or because their logic and reasoning skills were destroyed by years of having to accept the illogical and unreasonable religions tenets and beliefs.

Others simply fear the unknown when we know that there is really nothing to fear.
I advise you to double check that there isn't actually a God. Do you really think that it's more likely that all this life just happened by accident, or that it's possible that an intelligent being created it.

Have a Bible study with the Jehovah's Witnesses, and I'm sure that you will be pleasantly surprised.

    2 Corinthians 4:3-4

If, now, the good news we declare is in fact veiled, it is veiled among those who are perishing, among whom the god of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, that the illumination of the glorious good news about the Christ, who is the image of God, might not shine through.
It's simply because religion breeds ignorance and blinds them from any truth which chalenges, exposes or contradicts their belief.
survival instinct + imagination = belief in an after life

insecurity + desire to dodge blame = belief in satan

joy + confusion = belief in god
we need to subsidize their education

we need to help them get closer to reality
Once people stop being greedy and start actually putting money towards education.
They can't handle the fact that when they die they are gone forever so they make up an afterlife.
I'm in it for the mead.
oh yeah once people stop putting so much stock in the bible we will be better off

Taking into consideration the paparazzi intrusion, false tabloid stories, etc. - Would you like to be famous?

of course, it's all part of the package. think of all the ways you can use the publicity to promote righteousness and change the world. Being a celebrity you have a power like no other that you need to make the most of, aside from wearing Amani or posing on the red carpet. But if you really want to avoid those things, it's possible by keeping a low profile.

    EDIT:

    Grim Fandango-

I totally agree with you, being a celebrity puts you in a pickle. But in the end, the benefits out weigh the disasters. So i guess it is something worth working your way around. it is best to be a boring celebrity by avoiding situations which you might later be ashamed of or situations you know the media will manipulate, and it is doable. Most people (there are definitely some) I know don't get DUIs or check in and out of rehab or such, so why should the frequency be so much higher for celebs? And when the press exploits other aspects of your life like relationships or donating to charities, who cares, as long as you, your close friends and family know who you are and what you did. your talent should be enough to make a name for you at that point. know what i mean? sorry i'm rambling aren't i?

also, you can use some of that media coverage to seriously change aspects of society, for example, many of the members of the band AFI, are straightedge vegetarians. many of their fans have become inspired to be the same way since word got out.Taking into consideration the paparazzi intrusion, false tabloid stories, etc. - Would you like to be famous?
It is probably better to focus on your craft, if you are a performer than worry about being famous. There is no point being famous if you are no good at doing what you do. Fame occurs or should occur when you achieve a high talent, even though fame was of course invented by the rulers of society, whether talented or not and maybe there's some schadenfreude at seeing famous people fail-even if most people do not succeed to such a degree.Taking into consideration the paparazzi intrusion, false tabloid stories, etc. - Would you like to be famous?
Fame is obviously...a result of admiration, Money on the other hand, is something we all people look for, somehow, these 2 terms, are attached one another. The factor difference here is...the celebrity personality. and Yes...I'd love to be famous!
I'd like it more than working in two different gas stations over 60 hours per week, perpetually borrowing from cash advance and rent to own stores, and drinking myself to sleep every night with $7 dollar handles of vodka.
I honestly don't see the perks in being famous..... I dont think it's that big of a deal.....wow being in the newspapers thats fun!!!! (not) im sure they get tired of it, or at least I know I would
Why the heck would anyone be famous?! Ooooh, look at Mr. so and so got into a sex scandal. LIKE THE REST OF US DON';T CHEAT ON OUR SPOUSES!!!111!!!?
    Nope,never.
i could never be famous because i don't exist...
    Nope!
I AM (so my mirror tells me)
what? you don't know me ?
    nope, i like my privacy.
I have considered being a celebrity before, I have multiple talents but the idea of not being able to live a normal life weighed in my mind versus the riches of more than millions of dollars that comes along with the celebrity lifestyle. Some people are fortunate enough to endure such a lifestyle and be successful for many personal strengths and reasons enable such.

Think of the famous such as the ';one-time-hit'; wonders who didn't have what it takes to endure the lifestyle of a successful celebrity.

Some celebrity's or famous people have a complicated time trying to make friends outside of the small circle of the celebrity/ rich and famous world because once they are famous most likely they'll gain fans and won't know who to trust and often take that into consideration and look for people with something in common or within the (rich %26amp; or famous) network, and that could become tiring , because the non-famous life could be anything from having small circles of friends, big circles of friends or anywhere in between.

It's easier to make friends and live without being a celebrity and having paparazzi around and media and news broadcasting your life to the whole world that has the ability to and want to see.

If someone is in your business it most likely won't pop up on T.V. and it'd be conflict between you and the people you disagree with or in your community and city which if you are to move to another state, country nobody would know.

    personal Note:

I think that I could have did better with my answer but this is

an attempt to be completly detailed and simple in my

reasoning and my answer may have came out differently than

the short and simple sentenced I had imagined it would be, but it get's the point across.

Theist, What if someone could prove to you that the Bible stories are false, would you be willing to listen?

Just the other side of a question I just read.Theist, What if someone could prove to you that the Bible stories are false, would you be willing to listen?
Of COURSE they wouldn't. That's the very nature of dogma. It is NOT swayed by facts to the contrary. In fact it only strengthens every time it's challenged, justifiably or not.

Thankfully some people can think outside of the dogma into which they were indoctrinated. They can say well, I was meant to reject everything that challenges these beliefs that I've been taught to feel are unchallengable, but perhaps I could break the rules and allow the challenge.

THOSE are the lucky few who use their brains instead of their feelings to determine truth from fantasy.Theist, What if someone could prove to you that the Bible stories are false, would you be willing to listen?
    I have
No I wouldn't be willing to listen. Bible stories or no Bible stories, I have witness to the genuine power of God. I know He is real and I know His power is real too. So nothing anyone else could ever do or say would make me willing to listen to any such garbage that the stories God left me to learn about life by in His Holy Word, The Bible, could possibly be false. I would know that any supposed proof that would be given me if I listened would be the lies of Satan. So hang it up, Thor! You will not even get me to think about your suggestion about the falsehood in the Bible twice. There is just no way!
I have often wondered about the exact same thing....but then I don't think people 2000 years ago were as canning as people are today to write up such a story line/plot.... or were they? There is a lot of truth in the Bible and it is so easy to apply its principles in life.... You know what... I think I wouldn't be willing to listen....(Doubting Thomas I am)
I couldn't deny what I have experienced. What ifs are for atheists.
NO NO NO NO NO NO,and NO!!!!!!!!!!
They have and they don't respectively.
Most theists base their beliefs upon faith, which is not a logical, rational process. Proof doesn't matter one whit to faith, because you can't deal rationally with a thing that is by its very nature irrational.

ADDENDUM: Maximilian, please do prove the existence of a loving god to me, and I'll convert in a second. Feel free to do so in here or in private e-mail. Though I should warn you in advance to kindly note that neither quotes from your bible nor circular arguments qualify as 'proof'.
No they cant bcoz they are also one of biblical character.
Surely, I'd listen, contemplate, and assess the credibility, and make a decision.
NO, BECAUSE NO ONE CANT, THE DEVIL IS A LIAR, AND HE KNOWS HIS TIME IS SHORT....PRAISE JESUS CHRIST FOR HE HAS RISEN ,AND HE IS COMMING SOON.....AMEN
    Ooh, good comeback.

I was the second answerer. :D
Honestly, my brother's always trying to tell me why my religion is false (he claims he can prove that it's false). It really doesn't matter to me. I've made my choice and I'm sticking with it. Period. Some people call that ignorance, I call it committment.
Absolutely. If one could take my advanced scientifically trained brain and show me how suddenly my complete faith in the divinity of scripture backed up with years of study and a lifetime of indesputable proof of its validity, then sure.

    Gimme both barrels.
I am willing to listen. But there is a difference between listening and accepting.

The acceptance of your proof only if you prove that you're not part of this world whom God created according to the bible stories.
    I like the answer given in the Bible: read the episode of Shadrach, Meschach %26amp; Abednego in the book of Daniel. Their challenge to King Nebuchadnezzer goes something like this: 'We believe in God even if you would have us killed for it.....even if you throw us into the blazing furnace......even if He DOES NOT save us....';
I would listen but it would not change my faith in God.
That is actually a moot question since nobody will ever prove it false. People have tried for centuries, but have not succeeded yet.
    I would say ';I knew that already, that's why I ain't a Christian/Muslim/Jew';. Not all Theists are ';Christian/Muslim/Jewish';. I'm not
Yeah....IF they could prove them wrong....and not just ';where did the water go after the flood?'; I want physical proof like many so demand to prove there is a God in the first place.
They have been proven false, many times. The second half of their book is based on Jesus's life, but strangely there is no non biblical proof of his existence. Odd for some one who was a walking around the middle east performing miracles.

The other side of your question addresses their ignorance. See, religious folk have this horrible habbit called 'faith'. The more you believe in it, with out evidence, the better you are!

And what's worse is, faith is considered a great thing in their culture. It just breeds idiocy.
If you mean listen is to ';Hear'; what he/she has to say and not actually live by it, then yes I would try to listen like how I watched the Da Vinci code BUT I am still a Christian, coz I didnt actually ';believe'; in Dan Brown's theories(Its kinda fruity even for a theist to believe), or I could just argue with him/her all day =)
I would listen to anybody who could PROVE something to me. Who can prove anything?
    Dude, two words.

    Noah's Ark.

    nuff said..
Havent most of the stories been proven false? And yet they still believe.
Yeah, sure. But it couldn't change my mind because they AREN'T false, and so NO ONE can prove it.

Hey Atheist, what if someone could prove to you that the Bible stories were true, would YOU be willing to listen?
IF, and this is a big if, they could, then sure. But, since you asked, if I could prove to you there was a loving God, would you listen? Would you truly consider conversion?
Again, like I have answered with the other guy's question...

We as humans, do not hold the keys of absolute truth. If we did, we would have absolute proof.

There is no absolute proof that the Bible stories are true or false... no matter how many conspiracy theories or opinions are cropped up.

I have my own reasons as to why I am a Christian. Oh, and by the way, not all theists are Bible-believers, e.g. Hindus.
Can you prove something false when it's never really even been proven??
Yes provided you gave verifable proof and allowed me to answer them.
As modern science evolves over time it will only prove more and more of the Bible stories true and happened just the way that God wrote them.
