They discovered the story about her thinking Africa was a country was a hoax and their source didn't exist. So why are people still using that against her, and doesn't this show the liberal media will jump on anything, true or false, to smear conservatives?

Not so fast. They just said that a source was a hoax. Fox broke the original story and they have yet to retract.

What I think is even more amazing is the fact that several networks and newspapers have come out since the election saying that this statement or that statement about Palin was incorrect or have even admitted bias. Funny isn't it that they didn't bother with any of this UNTIL Obama won so it was to late to hurt the campaign? They just don't want to have their reputation of being biased to ';stick';....but I can assure you, it will.
It's a meaningless reaction. THey bum rushed her and only reported 83% positive things about Obama.
When Palin brought up Ayers , MSNBC was ';stuck on stupid'; in saying it was just a ';guilt be association issue'; CLeearly since Ayers has a book dedicated to SIrhan Sirhan, it was just plain bad judgement for any CHicago politician as an adult to take a paid posiiton on Ayers boad. It is a judgement issue, poor discernment and not completely being honest.
It's won't matter to the hateful Liberals who want to destroy her.
