To make it appear prophesies came true, do people make false connections between old & new testament stories?

Do they do it knowingly? To make it appear prophesies came true, do people make false connections between old %26amp; new testament stories?
It's all fiction. To make it appear prophesies came true, do people make false connections between old %26amp; new testament stories?
No need to try and make prophecy fit the NT. Check it out here;

Just believing or disbelieving something does not make it true or untrue.

Christianity has a sound foundation for believing in Jesus the Christ.

It starts in the Old Testament and goes straight through the New Testament, with each day bringing closer the prophecies yet unfulfilled to fruition.

Many say Christ is not coming back, but He left Word that He is indeed coming back, and used parabels to communicate that to the people of that day.

37Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.

38And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants.

39And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through.

40Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.
I think moreso that people convince themselves that it fits and is true. Like with Nostradamus, before I really knew what he was all about all I DID know about him was that he prophesied things that have happened...but when I actually read those prophesies, they were more ambiguous than I thought, and that maybe people were trying to make certain events fit into what he said.
They don't need to make false connections. The NT does that itself. Keep in mind that most of the NT was written knowing full well what the OT prophesied, and framed the words to make it fit.
If something didn't come true as stated it would in the Old Testament, then you wouldn't have a prophesy., but the fact is, most have come true and the rest are yet to come.
Historical documents and archeology have already proven the accuracy of Bible prophecy.
the argument they give is that every single word in the bible is the absolute truth so i guess any combination will do
Nope, the prophecies are true.
Yes. Of course they did it on purpose.
all the time and yes, knowingly
