Why did McCain's campaign push the story of the race-baiting false attack before an investigation?

Did they not realize the danger that they themselves might incite racial violence? How is that not irresponsible and bad for the country?

Same reason they touted ';Joe the Plumber'; before anybody actually took a look at him. Stories based on lies don't stand up to investigation, so they needed to get as much traction as they could before anybody looked into it.Why did McCain's campaign push the story of the race-baiting false attack before an investigation?
Desperation.

How dare a first term Senator ruin John McCain's chances of fulfilling his bucket list?

He doesn't realize that all the hate and lies he's spreading in an attempt to ';win at all costs'; is bringing out the very worst in our country. He gives Veterans a bad name, a decent, upstanding vet would run a decent upstanding campaign. And to think, he actually had a chance at winning my vote before he turned to the lies.

Obama/Biden 08!
It really was a bad move. They should have waited before it came out, but they are so used to running smears by now that a couple of them probably got a little excited and jumped the gun.

At this point they will really do anything for votes and it's starting to smell. A very pungnent aroma, I think it's Calvin Klein's new scent ';Desperation';
All the GOP has is fear. First he's a muslim (lie), then he's not a citizen (lie), then he's a black supremacist (lie), then he's a friend of terrorists (lie). SO now they ramp it up with stuff like this.

Play the fear card, GOP, play the fear card.

By their rank stupidity and blatant retardation, you shall know them.
Republi-cons don't care about people dying. They want to be in power to get the money, that's all it is. And as I said before, they have nothing good with which to promote themselves so they resort to trying to make their opponent look really bad.
You'd think they would realize.

I wonder how much they pay people to do this stuff. Including Joe, I mean Sam the scam.
The phrase ';Grasping at straws'; comes to mind.
