It was on the major news as well.





She did put it on eBay but it didn't sell. It was later sold (not by Palin but another government official) at a loss, not a profit.





So why the exaggeration where it can so easily proven to be false?Why would the McCain campaign keep using the Palin eBay airplane story when it is so easly shown to be false?
It's a great soundbite. Politics is not about the truth -- how else did Bush get elected twice? Politics is about soundbites, catch phrases, and chants that get the minions all riled up. Politics is about emotion.





50% of Americans still think Saddam Hussein masterminded 9/11 -- that is because of the Bush White House Propaganda machine and its lies. But they generated a lot of great sound bites. Why would the McCain campaign keep using the Palin eBay airplane story when it is so easly shown to be false?
I'm wondering if it's not more for an affect towards the people who haven't heard the news of this yet. It doesn't seem to matter much to the people writing their presentations how foolish they appear by continually repeating things that have been proven otherwise. Or perhaps they're just hoping things will go away on their own so addressing all these inconsistencies and falsehoods one after another won't become an issue....


It makes no sense to me.....
Because the facts are that she didn't use the plan as it is a symbol of corruption and she did list it on ebay.





So if the Governor orders it sold shouldn't she get credit when it sells?Saving or getting 2million + for the sale, plus the savings of fuel and a pilot is huge and more than we can say for most.
