Because the Times is in the tank for dems. They hate Republicans with a passion. It's sad to see a major newspaper be this biased. They certainly deserve the downfall in readership they are getting from being so narrow minded. Why did the NY Times run a false story on McCain's supposed affair but not John Edwards' affair and baby?
I was unaware there were inaccuracies in the times story. they reported on a relationship he had with a lobbyist. They never said he had an affair. It was McCain's aides that said the relationship was inappropriate.
Because it would make their liberal hair-boy look bad. He WAS running for president when the story 1st came out. Since he's not (R) they just decided to ignore it. Doesn't it seem like almost all scandals happen on the (D) side?
Simple. Edwards isn't running for President.
