Why wasn't anyone at FOX fired for their FALSE story about Obama's school?

When CBS published reports about Bush's military service based on what turned out to be false papers, heads rolled.

Why, then, did FOX publish the unsubstantiated, false, and easily disproven accusations of an obscure magazine, and then not fire a single person for the error?

Doesn't FOX care about factual accuracy?

no, fox does not and has never cared about being accurate. they are a corrupt news organization owned by rupert murdoch (who is a huge republican financial supporter). if you haven't done so already, see the documentary *outfoxed* immediately. you'll be appalled at the (other) stuff they get away with. Why wasn't anyone at FOX fired for their FALSE story about Obama's school?
because they didn't purposely falsify documents like ABC did.
All you have to do is prove that it was a false story, ask for an on air correction, and you'll get one.

That's the difference between FOX analysts and other networks.

Look, I know you won't be satisfied until someone is fired, even if the issue is so unimportant that only 4 people even remember it. But since when is that an equitable solution?
Get on the stick and get those heads rolling, man! Why are you here whining about it?!

BTW: ';unsubstantiated, false, and easily disproven'; is redundant.
It is known as Faux News for a reason.
Life has to go on! Obama has to depend on them in his race! He has reportedly pardoned them as a budding president!
Oh, you have CNN as the debunker!! Haha! Here is a link to his church.

You will notice that he is committed to Africa not America.
I do believe those at fox who fabricated a story should be fired. I however find it funny that people have to dig to find a little bit of info for the leading candidate for the Democrats. That can not be good.
Are you saying that ace Fox %26amp; Friends reporters, Steve Doocey and Brian Kilmeade lied?

You must have your facts wrong. They are thorough journalists...right?
So where did he go to school and what religion is he and his father ? And who does he support Muslim funds or America? We will investigate . Give us a lead and we will find the truth. I didnt think so. See ya.
I'm so sick of this political correct BS. FOX can do whatever it wants, and say whatever it wants, same as Air America, and Randi Rhodes, who spews lies all day long.

All you knappy-headed hoes who believe we should start to censor everyone are going against the very grain of the FIRST Amendment. And it IS FIRST for a reason.

Of course, it's those same people who want to get rid of the Second Amendment too, not coincidentally, as the Second is the power behind ensuring the First.

If you believe they give out bad information, and you want GOOD information, don't watch! Problem solved, for you.
because FOX doesn't have accuracy or truth standards
They probably promoted the person that did it.
Ummm no Fox doesn't care.
Factual accuracy?

Facts are passe! What's in is opinions. Get with the program.

Fox News? It should be called Faux News.

The whole point is to represent the welfare of the extremely rich by appealing to the fears of poorly educated and economically disadvantaged Americans. How else are they going to get Joe Sixpack to vote for someone who has not a single policy that would align with what's best for Joe?
if fox fired everyone who gave false reports they would be out of business.....
fox must just be an editorial agency and for entertainment purposes only, i'll have to try to find there disclaimer because they are wrong many times.
perpetrating false stories is standard operating procedure for fox and cnn.
And to go even further why isnt limbaugh being removed for basically doing what Imus got caught doing?

And we all cant wait until Fox gives O'reilly the boot.
