In the graphic novel maus it shows the polish using tanks why is this false? the story takes place during WWII?

This novel isn't good source to learn history. Find some better books. The Poles HAD their own GOOD tanks in the 1939.The fact that they didn't use tanks and planes is just one of many american stereotypes ( the person above) about WWII. The problem was that Polish army had MUCH less tanks than Germans. The budget of the WHOLE Polish Army before war was just about 1/3 of Luftwaffe ( german air force). In the graphic novel maus it shows the polish using tanks why is this false? the story takes place during WWII?
One of the reasons the Germans were so easy to take over Poland on September 1, 1939 was because they HAD no tanks. The Germans had tanks and the Poles had horse cavalry and not much else. The Germans essentially ran them over when they invaded, effectively starting World War II (in Europe).
